I felt so lucky to have been a part of Stephanie & Thor’s perfect wedding day. Sometimes as a wedding photographer all I you have to do is sit back watch the love story of the couple unfold and these two needed no direction. They seem to move effortlessly throughout the day moving as one person. Even their 1^st dance was magical as they glided across the floor you could feel the happiness and love they have for each other.

 

The Love Story of Stephanie & Thor

Stephanie and Thor first met in April 2015 at a work conference. They remained friendly often seeing each other around the office at Deltek. Thor would find reasons to wander up to the 6th floor in hopes of a “chance encounter” or at the very least, a passing glance and a smile. Although they had entered each other’s orbit, their worlds weren’t yet ready to fully collide. In early 2016, Thor decided to leave his job and endeavored to thru-hike the entirety of the Appalachian Trail.

A few short months after summiting Mt. Katahdin in Maine, Thor returned to work at Deltek unbeknownst to Stephanie. Waking up on January 3rd, 2017, Stephanie and Thor were unsuspecting about how momentous this day would come to be in shaping their futures. That morning on the 6th floor, upon seeing each other for the first time in almost a year, Stephanie ran up to Thor and gave him the most unforgettable hug of his life. This time around, their hearts were open and they were ready to embrace this life-changing opportunity. From that point forward they were inseparable and after only a few short weeks they both knew…it was love.
